Hibs have reportedly received a £2m bid for striker Kevin Nisbet just weeks after he caught the eye of Rangers fans with his goals in the Scottish Premiership.

Nisbet, 23, is currently the joint top scorer in the division alongside Gers captain James Tavernier and after scoring the equaliser in a recent 1-1 draw with Celtic caught the eye of the club’s fans.

Some even claimed the club should be “pulling out the stops” to sign the talented striker who has only been at Hibs for six months following a move from Dunfermline in the summer.

But according to the Times, Championship outfit Birmingham City have bid an attractive £2m to sign the Hibs striker who will have one eye on a place in the Scotland Euro 2020 squad.

That report also claims that Hibs are considering a £1m bid for defender Ryan Porteous from fellow Championship side Millwall.

The Hibees have been open about the challenges their club is facing due to coronavirus and these offers may well be alluring to a club in need of cash.

Nisbet isn’t the only Hibs player attracting attention with teenage left-back Josh Doig also reportedly on the radar of three high-profile sides.

Rangers have dipped into the Scottish market already this January, securing a pre-contract deal with Aberdeen forward Scott Wright.
