10k Rangers fans set to travel to Vienna - rumours

Everywhere Rangers go their fans will famously Follow on. And with a huge match against Rapid Vienna on the horizon, plenty are planning to follow their heroes to Austria.

Rangers must win to progress to the last 32 of the Europa League. Rapid will go through with a draw. It’s very tight at the top of the competitive group which includes Spartak Moscow and Villarreal. All four teams still have a chance of qualifying.

Rangers will need the legendary support of their fans if they’re to go through here. All 10,000 of them who’re rumoured to be making the trip.

That number comes from reputable Rangers influencer @Gregco_.

The Rangers Supporters Liaison Officer then suggests it could be closer to 6k, but Gregco is adamant the ticket office are expecting that much when responding to another comment.

Rangers fans traveling to Vienna in their thousands

It’s testament to the unbelievable support Rangers have that so many are making the journey. Especially so close to Christmas.

It certainly looks like we’re going to have close to 10,000 fans there. It promises to produce a wonderful atmosphere in the stadium.

Rapid fans too are notorious for their support.

It is Rangers biggest European night in close to a decade. The team have rewarded fans for their loyalty by making sure it’s still all to play for in Vienna.

The fans now have to give everything to the players come Thursday.
