Danny Rohl will be making a decision on Thelo Aasgaard as Rangers take on Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership.

The German will be without the injured Ryan Naderi, who may not be back until the end of the season.

This would mean that a solution needs to be worked on, as every game is now a must-win for the Gers as they are looking to win the title.

Thelo Aasgaard seems likelier to start than Bojan Miovski vs Falkirk

According to Rangers Review, Rohl’s press conference suggested that he is more likely to hand Aasgaard a start over Bojan Miovski.

Miovski may have come off the bench to score against Dundee United, but that may not be enough for him to get a start.

Sources claim that Rohl favours individuals capable of playing in different positions in different aspects of the game.

While Miovski is clinical and composed in front of goal, he does not necessarily fit that criteria.

The North Macedonian has been used as an impact substitute, and is likely to be used in a similar manner until the end of the season.

Miovski could leave Rangers at the end of the season due to the lack of regular minutes and potentially falling further down in the pecking order next season.

Danny Rohl has lost just one league game as Rangers manager…

If YOU were to change one thing about his management style for next season, what would it be? 🤔

What Aasgaard brings to the Rangers side

Aasgaard may be a number 10 on paper, but he is capable of drifting out wide and playing as a hybrid number nine as well.

Not only is he able to progress the ball well and create chances, but he is also capable of occupying spaces that a traditional number nine would.

His end product has been lacking this season, but he seems like someone who needs an arm around his shoulder to give him confidence.

Rohl surely would have spoken to him this week and told him how important he will be in Rangers’ title quest.

That sort of confidence is only likely to get the best out of the Norwegian.

Aasgaard is also likely to work well with Chermiti, who is an out-and-out number nine.

Also, in case Plan A does not work, Rohl always has the option of getting Miovski off the bench.
