Ryan Naderi has sparked fears that he may miss the game between Livingston and Rangers on Sunday.

The 22-year-old, who moved to Ibrox on transfer deadline day, started in the 4-2 win against Hearts.

Danny Rohl opted to play Naderi alongside Youssef Chermiti, and that worked wonders with the latter scoring a hat-trick.

Ryan Naderi not spotted in training pictures shared by Rangers

Sky Sports journalist Gordon Duncan attended training along with a few Gers legends on Friday afternoon.

Duncan noticed that Naderi was not spotted on the grass, and he was also unsure about Dujon Sterling being there.

He took to X to write: “No Ryan Naderi at Rangers training ahead of the trip to Livingston.

“Don’t recall seeing Dujon Sterling either but then again I have terrible eyesight.”

Shortly after his update, the club’s official account shared images from the training session on X.

They did little to allay any fears as Naderi was not spotted, and neither was Sterling.

This could mean that the duo are not completely fit, with Rohl alluding to a mystery injury in the side.

Who replaces Ryan Naderi in the eleven against Livingston?

Against Hearts, Naderi played 80 minutes from the start and was then taken off by Mohammed Diomande.

Once the Ivorian came on, it was more of a 4-2-3-1 system, and that is something that Rohl could look to do.

However, if he feels that playing a 4-2-2-2 is the right way to go, this could see Bojan Miovski getting a rare start.

He could lead the line alongside Chermiti as both strikers would offer something different in the final third and play off each other.

Oliver Antman could also be handed a start with Andreas Skov Olsen moving into the number 10 role, which would be a more attacking option than having Diomande in there.

Rohl will be pleased that he is spoilt for choice, and has a couple of days to decide what the best eleven will be.
