The referee has been confirmed for Rangers’ weekend clash with Dundee United as Bobby Madden prepares to take charge of a traditionally feisty affair.
Madden will be the main referee for the game with Callum Spence and John McGrossan his assistants and Chris Graham the 4th official for the match, which kicks off at 12pm on Sunday 20th February.

The Gers will be eyeing a semblance of revenge after the Arabs halted the club’s unbeaten charge that stretched over an entire season with a 1-0 win back in September.
But Rangers won’t go to Tannadice and come out with all three points without a fight and the Tannadice crowd will demand a certain level of commitment from their side.
A rivalry of sorts with no love lost between the supporters, the Ibrox club will be travelling to Dundee just days after playing Borussia Dortmund in the Westfalenstadion.
Bobby Madden to take charge of Rangers v Dundee United
It could be a potentially pivotal match in the title race with three points continuing the club’s recent upturn in form and Bobby Madden is bound to find himself at the centre of a committed affair.
The game has also been marred by on-pitch controversy in recent seasons, with Alfredo Morelos infamously being retrospectively banned after an on-pitch clash with Mark Connolly in the last campaign [Sky Sports].
If Rangers go to Tannadice and play their game, then they are the superior side with the superior players and should come away with a victory but the team already know this can be a hard place to go.

Bobby Madden is widely considered to be Scotland’s best referee and with the whistlers under increasing speculation we’re sure Dundee United v Rangers will be heavily scrutinised.
Having taken charge of 13 Scottish Premiership games to date this season, Madden has handed out 13 yellow cards, three reds and awarded five penalties.
Before the match with Dundee United, Rangers have a Europa League clash with Borussia Dortmund to focus on first and the Ibrox club will be involved in a special milestone in Germany.
