After a disappointing start to the new season, Rangers were determined to pick up three points against Motherwell and make sure that they do not fall further behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

Philippe Clement’s side then played out a 1-1 draw with Dynamo Kyiv away from home in the UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round First leg.

The Gers’ main objective this season is to win the league title, and they could not afford to fall further behind Celtic, who won their opening game of the season.
