Kris Boyd has made a comment on Nasser Djiga’s involvement as Rangers play host to Hearts at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
Djiga was handed a start by Danny Rohl as Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw against Motherwell at Fir Park in midweek.
They failed to close the gap on Hearts at the top of the SPFL table and now find themselves five points behind them.

Kris Boyd shares if Emmanuel Fernandez should start vs Hearts
Boyd believes that Rohl did not get his team selection right against Motherwell, which resulted in the Gers dropping two points.
In his view, the likes of Andreas Skov Olsen, Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi must all be considered by the manager ahead of the Hearts clash.
The trio were all January signings made to strengthen the eleven in order to give Rangers the best chance to win the title.

Naderi was even signed at a premium as the Ibrox outfit could not wait until the summer to sign him.
Boyd is also of the view that Emmanuel Fernandez deserves to start, but dropping Djiga would be harsh, as he played well in midweek.
The former Rangers forward told The Scottish Sun: “New signings Ryan Naderi, Andreas Skov Olsen and Tuur Rommens must all be in contention to start against Hearts.
“Manny Fernandez is another who could return to the team, although it would be harsh on Nasser Djiga if he misses out.
“Rangers pushed the boat out to sign Naderi on deadline day, and you’d imagine he gets the nod over Youssef Chermiti.”

Will Nasser Djiga be dropped by Rangers?
Rohl knows that he has to pick a team that gives him the best chance of winning, and not based on who played well in the previous game.
Even the best of players have bad games and inconsistent players have the odd good game.
Fernandez has been one of the Gers’ players of the season, and he should be in the strongest Rangers eleven.
He would complement John Souttar well in defence and give the hosts a better chance of winning the three points in what could be a potential title decider.
