Danny Rohl now has a big decision to make ahead of the Rangers clash against Falkirk, with Ryan Naderi ruled out.

Naderi may not return for Rangers until the end of the season, following the injury he sustained in the 4-2 win over Dundee United.

This means that five first-team players will be missing for the game on Sunday, making things complicated for Rohl.

David Edgar does not expect Bojan Miovski to start vs Falkirk

David Edgar, the Heart and Hand podcast host, wants Rohl to start Bojan Miovski, but he does not see that happening.

Miovski came off the bench against Dundee United and found the back of the net, thus going into this game with confidence.

With Naderi out injured, possibly for the rest of the season, it would make sense to give the North Macedonian more game time as the Gers boss has deployed the two-striker system a lot in recent weeks.

He has played the box midfield with the two players behind the strikers tucking inside and the full-backs offering width.

However, Edgar thinks that Rohl will instead go for Thelo Aasgaard to replace Naderi.

With Andreas Skov Olsen also injured, there is a possibility of both Aasgaard and Miovski starting.

Via X, Edgar wrote: “I’d go Miovski up top with Chermiti behind and stick to the formation but pretty sure it’ll be Chermiti with Aasgaard.

“Just win regardless.”

How Rangers are likely to line up against Falkirk?

Rohl will definitely need to make changes to the side that beat Dundee United, and it remains to be seen what he decides to do.

It will be important to balance out the side as he cannot go ultra attacking, but at the same time, playing safe jeopardises his side’s chances of winning.

Emmanuel Fernandez should come back into the eleven after he was benched in the last one.

That was probably because he was fatigued following the international break, but he is the best defender in the team, and is expected to start.

James Tavernier could also return to the starting eleven in place of Dujon Sterling.
