Rangers fans have plenty to sing about after overcoming Swedish bogey team Malmo and getting the club’s Europa League campaign off to the perfect start.
The Gers put in a superb performance in Sweden to defeat the Scandinavians 2-0 courtesy of goals from Albanian playmaker Nedim Bajrami and Northern Irish winger Ross McCausland.
Come full time the reaction on social media has been wholly positive as excitement over this new-look Rangers team begins to build amongst the support.
But special praise was reserved for one player in particular who had a superb night in Sweden and who is already capturing the imaginations of Gers fans.

Rangers fans have been eager to see what Nedim Bajrami can bring to the side ever since the Albanian made a late move to Ibrox at the end of the transfer window.
The 25-year-old made a permanent £3.4m switch to Glasgow from Italian side Sassuolo and there are big things expected of the player as a result.
And Nedim Bajrami couldn’t have picked a better moment to open his Rangers account after scoring within the first minute of the Europa League clash with Malmo.
Tapping in the rebound after Cyriel Dessers somehow hit the post, Rangers fans have paid tribute to the midfielder for an all-round impressive display from the left-wing.
The attacker might not even have started had Oscar Cortes not picked up a late knock in training.
Rangers fans really love that Albanian eagle celebration too.
The Ibrox support have hailed Nedim Bajrami for his performance v Malmo, with one fan claiming the playmaker is a ‘different class of player’.
Another described Bajrami as putting in a ‘flawless performance’ in Sweden, adding ‘we have a very serious player on our hands’.
One fan summed it quite simply by saying ‘Bajrami is some player’.
And the thing is, but for the finishing of his teammates, it could’ve been so much better.
Europa League hero not only Rangers debutant to impress
It’s certainly a bright start to Nedim Bajrami’s Rangers career but it’s only that, a start.
Whilst this first goal and an impressive creative performance will win favour with Rangers fans, it only gives Bajrami a platform with which to kick on and improve at Ibrox.
The Albanian also isn’t the only new Rangers signing who left a big impression on supporters in Sweden.
Dutch defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo slotted in perfectly at left-back and put in an excellent display both on and off the ball against Malmo.
We won’t say much for the Feyenoord loanee’s finishing, mind you!
