Under-fire Rangers star earns Ibrox fan redemption in Hearts celebrations

Rangers star Alfredo Morelos got the scoring underway in a 2-0 win against Hearts and fans have been picking up on his celebrations at the final whistle.

Prior to the appointment of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, the striker’s body language had left a lot to be desired with frustrated fans demanding more from Alfie.

But in recent weeks Alfredo Morelos has bucked up his ideas and has now scored four goals and laid on another since the Dutchman came into Ibrox and once again impressed in the win against Hearts.

Alfredo Morelos is a better link-up player than he is given credit a lot of the time and once again the Colombian was involved in a lot of the good play against Hearts.

But whilst we’re seeing more of the El Bufalo of old, the striker’s trademark smile is back and was evident both before and after the game.

Clips of the striker asking Glen Kamara if he was OK at full-time before celebrating with the supporters have been doing the rounds on social media.

Rangers fans loved both and have been giving Alfredo Morelos the plaudits for both his contribution and on-pitch celebrations against Hearts:

The result seen Rangers pull out in front in the Scottish Premiership by seven points before Celtic hosted Motherwell at Parkhead.

After running out 1-0 winners it cut the lead to four but now Rangers have three home games in a row in the league as they look to maintain their lead.

Here’s three things we learned as Rangers and Alfredo Morelos broke Jambo Hearts and made it four from four under Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the Scottish Premiership.
