Rangers Predicted XI vs Hamilton

After a resounding Scottish Cup fifth round victory over Kilmarnock, Rangers return to league action on Sunday, with a trip to Hamilton.
The hosts are sitting second bottom of the SPL, having accumulated just 18 points so far this season.

We know one player will definitely drop out of the side which won 5-0 on Wednesday night.
Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian serves the third and final match of his violent conduct ban.

It remains a bit of a toss up as to who will replace him, though.
Jermain Defoe didn’t feature at all against Killie, so will be well rested. Yet, I fancy Kyle Lafferty to be handed a start as the loan striker.

Defoe hasn’t looked comfortable in that role as yet, and may be more effective off the bench.

Foderingham to miss out

Alan McGregor is set to return in goal, after completing his two game suspension.
Therefore, Wes Foderingham should drop down to the bench, despite registering two consecutive clean sheets.
Elsewhere, there may be some rotation, without wholesale changes.
After coming off the bench and making an instant impact against Killie, Andy Halliday could replace Borna Barisic, who has started the last two matches.
Similarly, Glen Kamara may earn a rest after consecutive 90 minutes.

Having been left out of the squad in midweek, 6ft 3′ fan favourite, Ross McCrorie, is most likely to come in.
If so, Gerrard could recreate the midfield which started December’s Old Firm win.
Later in the game, the likes of Steven Davis and Glenn Middleton could come into the frame, while a debut for Matt Polster isn’t out of the question.
