Rangers fans have been reacting to the news that popular forward Fashion Sakala joins the starting XI against Hearts at Tynecastle alongside Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.

The popular Zambian international striker is one of five changes from the side who drew with Lyon in France and is recalled to form a potent front three with the Colombian and ยฃ7m man.

Veteran stopper Allan McGregor is recalled between the sticks โ€“ ahead of an interesting battle with Craig Gordon โ€“ whilst Scott Arfield and Joe Aribo return to midfield.

When you consider that winger Ryan Kent has also retained his starting berth on the left, this is an attacking team Rangers are putting forward with explosive potential.

Attacking Hearts starting XI inclusion catches the eyes of Rangers fans

Fashion Jnr is fast becoming one of the Ibrox clubโ€™s most popular players and the inclusion of the forward against Hearts has been met with celebration from supporters.

The fact that the striker has been recalled alongside Alfredo Morelos has also been a significant decision of note.

Both players offer something different but both are matchwinners and were dropped for the clash in France because they were walking a suspension tightrope.

Fans have since lauded the inclusion of Fashion Sakala, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent as Rangers go for the jugular in Edinburgh:

Kemar Roofe drops out of Rangers starting XI

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst said before the game that there were doubts surrounding Kemar Roofeโ€™s fitness head of the match.

These appear to have come to fruition heading into the game but Rangers have more than enough attacking prowess to go out and hurt Hearts this afternoon.

There are few attacking options on the bench, but perhaps Gio sees the options on it as players who can come on and control the match after Rangers get ahead in Edinburgh.

It promises to be an enthralling battle at Tynecastle and Rangers fans are delighted to see such an attacking starting XI against Hearts.

Rangers have also been boosted by the news that Hearts will be without a key player for the clash.
