Rangers are set to be boosted by the imminent return of Ryan Kent to the side as Ibrox gaffer Steven Gerrard also confirms Ryan Jack is nearing fitness.
Both players are considered hugely influential ones for a Gers side toiling for top form and this news will be welcomed by supporters.

Kent – who has been missing since picking up a hamstring injury in the 2-0 Europa League defeat to Lyon – won’t be available for the clash with Brondby manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed that he’s “days away”.
“Ryan Kent is closer, but this game is a little bit too soon,” said Gerrard [Rangers].
“Ryan Jack is progressing and should be back in training around the Aberdeen match.”
Generally considered amongst the first names on the teamsheet, the absence of Kent has been one very much felt by a Rangers side missing his direct, aggressive play on the ball.
The winger might not have hit top form this season – much like the rest of his teammates – but his absence has certainly be felt and fans will be hoping to see the £7m winger against St Mirren.
The situation surrounding Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is somewhat different and the midfielder has been out all season so far due to surgery on a calf problem.
Rangers have been slow in reintroducing the Scotland international back into training and the club will be hoping the 29-year-old’s issues are behind him when he returns to playing.
A key player for Rangers throughout Gerrard’s Ibrox reign, given Jack’s lack of gametime over the last few seasons his return his previously been labelled by the Ibrox manager as being like a “new signing”.
Both players are ones of huge influence at Ibrox and their return will be welcomed by the Rangers support.
Whilst Kent and Jack are nearing a return, the Gers are down to the bare bones in a key position ahead of the clash with Brondby.
