Since Monday, Rangers fans have been sweating over the fitness of Ryan Jack.
The Evening Times reported that he had been to hospital for checks on a foot injury after the 1-1 draw in Aberdeen, and had been wearing a protective boot.

Jack has been one of Steven Gerrard’s most consistent performers this season.
He has made 37 appearances in midfield, offering quality and consistency week in, week out.
Therefore, any prolonged absence would be a major blow.

However, on Wednesday, STV Journalist Raman Bhardwaj shared a positive update on Twitter.
He claims scans have confirmed that nothing is broken.
The collective sigh of relief is almost audible!
Yet, it seems Jack isn’t exactly fit and raring to go, either.
A bruised bone is said to render him a doubt for Friday night’s trip to Hibernian.
Of all the circumstances which could have transpired here, though, this is very manageable.
Being without the 27-year-old for one game is very different to trying to cope without him for the rest of the season.
Should he miss out at Easter Road, Ross McCrorie will surely come back in.
A very able deputy in the short term.
