'Feels good' - Rangers star sends Instagram message as return nears

Rangers star Kemar Roofe has sent a message on Instagram as his return to action nears.

Roofe was a key player when fit over the first half of the season, scoring ten goals in 20 appearances.

However, as has been the case for much of his career, injuries have held him back.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

The 29-year-old missed the Gers’ final four Premiership fixtures prior to the winter break with a knock.

Thankfully for Gio van Bronckhorst, the absence of a reliable goalscorer and the club’s first-choice penalty-taker didn’t have an adverse impact on results, and now, he’s nearing a return.

GvB confirmed on Monday that Roofe and Ryan Jack were returning to training following injuries and they could both be spotted in training ground content released by the club later that day [Rangers.co.uk].

Rangers star posts on Instagram ahead of return

On Monday evening, Roofe took to Instagram, posting a photo of himself taking part in a session and captioning it ‘Feels good to be back in the mix’, followed by raised hands, football and blue heart emojis.

It’s unlikely that he’ll be risked when the Gers take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Tuesday night, but fans will be delighted that the Jamaica international is closing in on a return.

The Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie against League Two club Stirling Albion on Friday could be the perfect opportunity to reintroduce him to competitive action.

Now halfway through his second season with the club, Roofe has a league winner’s medal and 28 goals to his name in Light Blue.

Meanwhile, Rangers have missed out on a winger ‘who gets people off their seats’ as he has officially signed for an English club.
