Rangers will earn a further £2.3m in prize money if they can overcome Portuguese side Braga and reach the Europa League semi-final.
The Gers have already been swinging above their weight and thanks to a successful group stage campaign and immense victories over Borussia Dortmund and Red Star Belgrade, have banked a pretty penny.

In prize money alone, Rangers have already earned £8.5m in prize money [Football Coefficient] in what is a sizeable chunk of money for the Ibrox side.
But this will rise to £10.8m if they manage to defeat the Portuguese side and earn a spot in the Europa League semi-finals for the first time since 2008 and soothe the pain of domestic disappointment.
Back then, Rangers reached the UEFA Cup Final in Manchester and should the club manage to navigate this tricky tie with Braga then fans will begin to dream of a trip to Seville.
Rangers or Braga will also face the winner of Atalanta and RB Leipzig with the other Europa League semi-final between the winner of West Ham v Lyon and Barcelona v Frankfurt.
Rangers boss urges side to grab Europa League opportunity v Braga
Manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has urged his side to grasp what is a “big opportunity” for the club.
“It’s a big opportunity, it’s not often you play a quarter-final in Europe and you have a chance to reach the semi-finals,” said van Bronckhorst [Rangers].
“We have to work hard and get the performances in tomorrow but also next week to overcome Braga.
“I think people were saying the best draw we could have a couple of weeks ago but I think they are a very good team, very strong. They won against Benfica last weekend so it’s a team who are difficult to overcome.
“We have a big challenge ahead of us but we relish the chance to go into the semi-finals so we have to go out and perform well to get into the semi-finals.”
Meanwhile, a leading Scottish football journalist claims Rangers are “categorical” when it comes to circumstances surrounding a leading player’s injury.
