Summer signing spotted back in Rangers training before Hibernian clash

Rangers take on Hibernian at Ibrox on Sunday in their third post-split SPL fixture.
Last time out there was a welcome victory against Aberdeen, with positive repercussions.

It extends Gerrard’s side’s winning run to four straight matches and with second place sewn up, it could be time to hand out a few opportunities.
We’ve already suggested that one in-form teenager could be in line to make his senior debut.
Furthermore, there could be a rare opportunity for a
disappointing summer signing. Eros Grezda has struggled with poor form and injury since arriving from NK Osijek in the summer.

He’s rarely earned a place in the team and with the imminent arrivals of both
Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie in wide areas, he days could already be numbered at Ibrox.
The Albanian international was mysteriously absent from training last week. Following that, he played no part in the weekend fixture.

However, a training video released by Rangers on Wednesday shows he is involved in the preparations to face Hibs. He can be spotted on several occasions, seemingly taking a full part in the session.

He faces a hard time getting back into the starting XI. Yet, Steven Gerrard could be willing to give him an opportunity at some point in the fixture.
Unless something miraculous happens, he’s unlikely to get game time the following weekend in the Old Firm.
After that, only Killie remain and the manager could have already made up his mind by then.
Therefore, it might be a case of do or die for the 23-year-old on Sunday afternoon. Let’s see if he can finally prove his worth.
