Rangers looked to be heading in the right direction until a dismal performance over Motherwell increased the pressure on Michael Beale once again.
There are players missing, good ones at that, but this doesn’t excuse the fact that the Gers boss had more than enough quality to provide more entertainment for the Ibrox crowd than he did.
Exasperated by the display, Rangers fans will be hoping that Michael Beale can some how keep winning and that the projected return of his key quartet is accurate, as revealed by Rangers TV.

Rangers injury update as Michael Beale faces pressure
When asked to give an update on Tom Lawrence, Beale added that none of the players currently out will be available in this block of fixtures, other than Kieran Dowell:
“The next day he (Lawrence) woke up and couldn’t walk so he has gone for a scan. He won’t play this side of the international duty. He has a problem with a calf.
“The international duty sounds like it’s longer because that is a two week break but he will return with Todd and Nico and Danilo. Kieran might be back in the middle of the week to play at the weekend but obviously, he’s lacking a bit of fitness.
“Rabbi today we think that might be a bad one. He’s taken a blow on the outside of his knee. That’s the information I was given.”
After Rabbi Matondo went off injured, only Sam Lammers was left as a player who was capable of creating something in the final third.

The decision making has to be better but he, at least, managed to cause Motherwell some problems.
It would be a surprise if Kemar Roofe and Abdallah Sima aren’t restored to the line up against Livingston but another wide option has to be found.
Jose Cifuentes could play as a number ten which would allow Lammers to play where there is more space but, for whatever reason, Beale seems intent on making the Ecuador international play deeper.
He still has quality and he still has options but Beale is missing players who could make a difference even if our own tactics provide as much of a challenge as the opposition.
