Rangers had to scrap at the weekend in order to earn a Scottish Cup quarter-final replay.
It was never going to be easy at Pittodrie, but they have an unlikely hero to thank for avoiding defeat.

His close range finish shortly after the interval, cancelled out Sam Cosgrove’s early opener.
It was a composed touch for a man who had never previously found the net for the Gers, and it was an extremely important time to step up.
After struggling to find his feet earlier in the season, he finally seems to have settled down.

While he and Connor Goldson were unable to help secure a sixth consecutive clean sheet at the weekend, the 21-year-old was solid at the back, once more.

With Cosgrove’s opener coming from the spot, it means Rangers have only conceded once from open play in their last eight matches.
Worrall has started all seven of those fixtures alongside his compatriot, Goldson.
Finally, after this latest display, Worrall has received official individual recognition.

He takes his place in the SPFL Team of the Week, announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The 6ft 4′ defender was the stand out man for the Gers on Sunday.
Therefore, while he’s had his detractors during his time in Glasgow, few could argue that this inclusion is deserved.
