Rangers defender Connor Goldson has spoken out about the controversial flashpoint from last month’s Old Firm, as quoted by STV.
Things kicked off after the final whistle at Parkhead.
Scott Brown goaded the Rangers fans with over the top celebrations, prompting a reaction from blue nose, Andy Halliday.

Multiple players from either side then got involved, prompting SFA charges for both clubs for failing to control their players [Sky Sports].
“It’s football, and I just think the type of game that it is and the atmosphere in the whole game, it probably boiled over a bit more than it should have”, explained Goldson, as quoted by
STV.
“But at the same time, I don’t think there was really that much harm done.
“It wasn’t like a big fight it was just a little bit of pushing between maybe 20 players.”

Looking ahead to the next encounter between the two sides, the centre-half maintained that events from Parkhead wouldn’t be used as extra motivation.

“I don’t think there is an added determination (to win the next one) because you go into every single Old Firm with the same determination and same motivation to every game for this football club.”
Goldson is likely to have made more than 50 appearances for the Gers before the next Old Firm fixture.
He’s proven to be an astute signing and will be hoping to help keep a second clean sheet against the Hoops this season.
