Rangers fans have been saluting winger Brandon Barker for seemingly accepting his fate and shaving his head.
The Ibrox attacker might only be 25 but last season the early signs of male patterned baldness had Gers fans – many of the bald persuasion themselves – encouraging Barker to embrace his situation.

As the Ibrox side returned to pre-season training, Barker was spotted via RangersTV with a shaved head in a new look ahead of the new campaign.
Baldy nappers have graced the game of football since time eternal with everyone from Jaap Stam, Zinedine Zidane and Henning Berg (?) embracing the look.
It didn’t miss Rangers fans who took to Twitter to celebrate Barker’s decision to rump his head after a season of memes and jokes in good jest aimed at the winger:

Ex-Man City youth Barker has been at Ibrox for two seasons and will be hoping to leave an impression on Steven Gerrard ahead of the new campaign.
The winger has been fancied by the Ibrox gaffer in the past with Gerrard including the pacey forward in a range of big games of the club.
Undoubtedly a confidence player, there is certainly something there with Barker as Rangers fans have seen in flashes and Oxford United fans saw on loan last season.
Barker excelled at the EFL1 club during the second half of the last campaign, netting three goals and laying on four assists in 22 appearances.
This isn’t the first time the winger has been in the press this week either after the ex-Hibs man surprised some fans with a round of drinks at a Glasgow bar.
