Rangers will welcome back 900 Celtic fans to the next Old Firm derby after away supporters were locked out of the last two matches, claims managing director Stewart Robertson.
The Gers were unable to give Celtic any away allocation for the first Old Firm of the season at Ibrox due to Covid-19 red zone rules and the number of home season tickets sold.

Despite the fact these rules had been removed ahead of the return fixture at Celtic Park, the Parkhead side still didn’t hand Rangers an allocation for the game.
However, managing director Stewart Robertson has revealed that away fans will return for the upcoming matches at Ibrox and Celtic Park as the season bottlenecks.
This will see 900 fans return to each ground with Rangers clear in the past they have no intention of returning the previous allocation of 8000.
“There will be away allocation for the next two games,” said Robertson [Sky Sports].
“Because of the Covid situation we had back in August the two clubs got together and agreed we wouldn’t have away fans, because we had red zones we weren’t sure what the Covid situation was going to be for that period of time.
“There will be away fans for the two games remaining.
Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson confirms Celtic ticket move
“It will be the allocation we’ve had for the last couple of years. Going into next year, and the succeeding years after that, as far as I can see it will still be at that level.
“I don’t think that’s underselling the game, I can see why some might think that.
“From my perspective, a lot of the excitement is what happens on the pitch between Rangers and Celtic.
“I’m comfortable with where we are in terms of the away fans allocation.”

Rangers won the first Old Firm of the season 1-0 at Ibrox whilst Celtic defeated the Gers 3-0 in the reverse earlier this month.
The next match is set to take place at Ibrox on April 2nd with the final game at Celtic Park to be scheduled as the Scottish Premiership splits.
Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson has also been speaking about the future of Connor Goldson and has contradicted claims in the press.
