Rangers fans are asking if a leaked Castore Rangers jersey is the club’s new away kit for season 21/22.

The Gers are preparing for a series of special kit releases this season as part of the club’s 150th-anniversary celebrations.

Rangers are the first major club in Europe to meet the milestone and as such retailers Castore are under pressure to deliver with their kit choices this season.

The club’s home kit – a stylish blue number with historic v neck and lined indents has gone down very well (even if the gold remains contentious) – and as per always we expect plenty of opinions on any other strips which are released.

Now, a leaked kit that many believe will be the Ibrox club’s away top this season has been doing the rounds of social media.

Whilst it’s always very hard to be precise with these leaked images with all the glare and low resolution, it shows a navy blue jersey with red and gold trim.

It also has glossy stripes down the front and includes the gold lettering which was so contentious with the club’s home jersey for this season.

We must stress that we have no information which confirms this is the club’s away kit, the club’s third kit, or another club training kit.

But fans appear to believe that it’s the club’s away kit for season 21/22.

You will also notice that on the collar the shirt includes the name of Peter McNeil, one of the club’s founders and the brother of Moses.

Moses’ name was included in the collar of the club’s home kit with the presence of Peter on this one suggesting there could be another two kits to come.
