Jordan Jones has spoken to the Daily Record about his imminent move to Ibrox.
The 24-year-old signed a pre-contract agreement with Rangers back in January and is now just weeks away from joining up with his new teammates.

Jones started his career with Middlesbrough and admits he could have opted to leave Rugby Park for a return south of the border. Yet, the Gers were always his first choice.
“Since January, when the move was announced, I’ve obviously been trying to fully focus on Kilmarnock – but it has been quite hard,” Jones told the Record.
“People have asked if I would not rather have gone down south.
“I could have gone to England but unless you are joining a big Premier League club there’s no real comparison to Rangers. It is a huge club with a huge fan base.
“I can’t wait to do that and also getting coached by Gerrard, who was one of my heroes growing up, is really exciting.”

Verdict
It’s great to see the passion Jones has for Rangers. Clearly, he understands the magnitude of the club he’s joining.
Injury and being out of favour hindered the final throes of his Rugby Park career, with his last appearance coming in early April.
However, a Euro 2020 Qualifying doubleheader with Northern Ireland is now just around the corner.
Therefore, he should be fit and ready to impress in pre-season as the Gers look to kick on to bigger and better things in 2019/20.
