Last night, a solitary second round FA Cup replay took place at Bloomfield Road.
Blackpool took on fifth tier Solihull Moors, after failing to put away the National League side at the first time of asking.
This time round, it wasn’t straightforward either. Yet, ex-Liverpool player Jay Spearing’s extra-time penalty spared the League One side’s blushes.
Early on in the match, it looked to be a comfortable outing for the Seasiders.
Within 20 minutes, they were 2-0 up thanks to Armand Gnanduillet and Rangers loanee, Joe Dodoo.

It was his sixth goal in 15 starts in all competitions this season, as the former England youth international seems to be finding his best form.
He was named Blackpool’s Player of the Month for November after a string of match-winning performances. The purple patch featured two stunning overhead kick’s in consecutive weeks.
Rangers fans will wonder where all this form was during his spell at Ibrox.
Dodoo managed just three SPL goals in 20 matches. However, the vast majority of those appearances were from the bench.
He seems a lot more comfortable as part of a front two alongside Gnanduillet, with the two firing Blackpool to a respectable 8th in League One.
However, with so many other strikers either at Rangers or on loan, it would seem that Dodoo has to do something special to earn a return to Ibrox.
With Alfredo Morelos, Kyle Lafferty, Ryan Hardie and Zak Rudden all seemingly in front of him, it looks an uphill task right now.
