Steven Gerrard has singled out two new Ibrox arrivals out for praise, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times.
The Gers battled through in the Europa League in a midweek stalemate in Luxembourg.

The game wasn’t one for the neutral, but the players did a job and avoided a potential banana skin. As far as the manager is concerned, that’s thanks to two players in particular.
Sheyi Ojo and Joe Aribo.
“The two big positives from midweek were (Joe) Aribo – who’s hit the ground running and took to this like a duck to water, he’s been superb – and Ojo,” said Gerrard, as
“They kicked him all night and he got no protection. But he never complained, he bounced back up after tackles.
“I predict a really positive year for Ojo if he wants it and is hungry for it. Because when he is in full flow it’s a great sight. He is so powerful and quick, he is direct, and on Thursday we saw him produce quality to put the ball across goal. He will assist goals and he has already shown he is a goal threat.”

It has been a great start to life at Ibrox for both of these quality operators.
With the London-raised Aribo, it’s clear to see why so many clubs were after him. A cultured left-footer, he always appears to have time on the ball, rarely wastes a pass and has already shown he can finish.
As for Ojo, the signs are extremely positive. As a speedy, creative winger, he will be subject to some rough treatment throughout the season. It looks as though there’s not much chance of him shying away, though.
His goal threat from wide areas will likely be very important and his pace should stretch opposition defences week in, week out.
