Ex-Rangers coach Dave Vos has sent a message to supporters as the Ibrox club line-up a QPR trio to join Michael Beale at Ibrox following the sacking of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Former Jong Ajax manager Vos – who only joined the club a few months into Van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox tenure – was speaking as the club look to revamp the management team during the World Cup break.

The Gers moved to sack the club’s Dutch management team, which also included Roy Makaay, Yori Bosschart and Arno Phillips, after falling nine points behind in the title race.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst showed his class with a message to supporters following his exit and Dave Vos followed suit by taking to social media to pay tribute to his time at Rangers.

“I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to play a part in this special club. It has been an absolute honour,” said Vos.

“Especially the players who gave everything every day, the people who guard the culture at the club and do everything to perform but also made us feel at home.

”And of course the supporters you have shown me how special this club is and have taken the team to unbelievable heights. The road to Seville, winning the Scottish Cup and qualifying for the CL.

“Rangers will always be special to me. I wish everyone the best of luck in the future.”

The comments from Dave Vos also come after QPR confirmed that Rangers were set to poach three coaches from the Loftus Road club’s coaching staff too.

As the Rs announced the departure of Michael Beale to supporters, they also confirmed that Rangers would also be taking ex-Arsenal man Neil Banfield, set piece specialist Harry Watling and former Celtic scout Damian Matthew to Ibrox [QPR].

Meanwhile, a Dutch former Rangers manager has secured yet another management job.
