Former Rangers coach and now QPR manager Michael Beale attended a London Rangers Supporters Club to watch the Ibrox side pip PSV to a Champions League place.
Part of Steven Gerrard’s team at Ibrox, the former Gers assistant remains a bluenose at heart and was snapped with the London-based Rangers FC Supporters’ Association celebrating the famous victory.
The former Ibrox boss then followed his trip to watch the Rangers clash with PSV amongst the Bears with a message on his official Twitter account.
Michael Beale paid tribute to the Rangers players and management for a monumental achievement as the club reaches the group stage for the first time in 12 years.
Beale, Steven Gerrard and the rest of the previous Rangers coaching staff deserve huge credit for helping the club back before Giovanni van Bronckhorst took the reins.
Rangers were rebuilt over three-and-a-bit seasons by the Liverpool contingent and whilst they no longer represent the club professionally the support are undoubtedly indebted to the job done before they switched Ibrox for Aston Villa.
As the pressure mounts on Steven Gerrard in Birmingham, to be inside the head of the ex-Rangers manager as the club continues to punch above its weight in Europe would be very interesting.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has taken the team to the next level on the European stage with his pragmatic and fluid approach but has yet to find the right formula domestically.
Michael Beale and his charges suffered similar issues against these aggressive and defensive sides but managed to crack the nut to go unbeaten and lift 55 in season 20/21.
QPR boss Michael Beale open to Rangers return
Speaking in the past, the now QPR boss has previously been quizzed on a potential return to Rangers and the manager admits he hopes one day he can take the reins at Ibrox.
“I would like to manage Rangers one day,” Michael Beale told the Mail on Sunday.
“I would like to think I have enough of an allegiance with the club and fans but it’s one thing wanting to do it — another to be competent and good enough.
“I was good enough to be a decent assistant. Time will tell whether I have the ingredients and qualities to be a good manager that I could go back there.

“I feel like I can do that job but I also feel that Rangers are in such a good place now that they will have no shortage of top managers wanting that job.
“I hope Rangers never go back to what we inherited. Because it took a lot to get them where they are now.
“I can only see bright things in the future with people like John Bennett and Ross Wilson at the club.”
So far Michael Beale has enjoyed a challenging start to life as manager of Queens Park Rangers, with the ex-Liverpool, Chelsea and Sao Paolo coach winning one and losing twice in his first five Championship games.
Speaking of the Champions League, one Rangers star has been currying favour with his teammates amid links to a potential group stage rival.
