Rangers striker Danilo has taken to Instagram to send a message to the Gers’ fans after suffering a bad head injury against St. Johnstone.

Michael Beale’s Rangers got the better of St. Johnstone 2-0 away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Danilo scored the first goal for the Gers in the 16th minute.

It was a very good goal as well, but it did affect the 24-year-old Brazilian striker.

Danilo had to be substituted along with home captain Liam Gordon following a nasty head collision during the goal.

According to The Daily Record, Danilo did not have to use a stretcher, but he needed help getting off the pitch.

The Rangers striker was taken to hospital.

Danilo sends message to Rangers fans

And it seems that Danilo is not doing too badly at the moment.

As you can see below, the Rangers striker has posted a very encouraging message to the fans on Instagram.

Danilo’s message suggests that the striker will not be on the sidelines for too long.

Of course, with such an injury, you have to be careful.

Rangers are certainly not going to rush the striker.

But, it seems that the Brazilian thinks that he could be back on the pitch for Rangers soon.

Danilo has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season.

The Brazilian has scored two goals in those games.
