Rangers talent Alex Lowry could be set for a January loan exit as manager Michael Beale challenges the kid to prove his worth at Ibrox.
Ibrox fans have been calling for the club to use the 19-year-old midfield talent more often with the player excelling at B Team level having made a first-team breakthrough last season.

But Michael Beale clearly believes that Alex Lowry is not completely there yet as the Rangers manager tempered expectations and discussed a potential loan move.
Potential loan move beckons for Alex Lowry at Rangers
Alex Lowry has been challenged to prove his worth to Rangers either at training or another club with Michael Beale clear that there is still plenty for the player to improve upon.
“He can learn from training every day with people like Arfield, who has played in the Premier League, from Tillman, from Cantwell, from Ianis Hagi,” said Beale, speaking ahead of Rangers’ clash with Hearts [Rangers].
“If he takes the best bits of those players and stays that lovely innocent self in terms of when he’s got the ball he’s got a chance of being a really important player for this club in the future.
“In his short term he’s either got to fight to play or go play somewhere else. But he’s got to fight to show he’s worth playing at Rangers. I like it when a young player has interest around him as long as it is valid.
“Alex has some parts of his game that are excellent and some that a 19 year old needs to work on. I don’t think the Lowland League prepares players to play for Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership and fighting for cups and playing for Europe.
“If he can’t get on the pitch he needs to go play at a good level for the next period to prove he can play for Rangers.
“The hot air can help a young player but it can also set him up to fail.”
Amongst the brightest talents at the Ibrox club, Rangers reportedly held off competition from the likes of Man City and Newcastle United to tie Alex Lowry down last season.
But injury has interrupted his campaign this time around and fans will be hoping an Alex Lowry loan move can reignite his career and help the attacking midfielder take that step into the Rangers first team.
