Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been heavily tipped for the role of Rangers manager and held positive talks with Rangers recently regarding the vacancy.
The Dutchman looks like the ideal candidate for the role, he has the experience and has won honours with Feyenoord.
Having also played for Rangers for three years, he knows the club too, which could be a massive advantage over other potential candidates.
The consensus is everyone wants the appointment to be announced as soon as possible. The Ibrox side has a League Cup semi-final tie against Hibs on Sunday and getting the new manager in quickly will allow him to prepare accordingly.
