Jordan Rossiter left Rangers on loan in January, joining EFL League Two outfit, Bury FC, on loan until the end of the season.
It seemed a curious choice to some.

Would a stint in the fourth tier in England reveal anything about his suitability for Rangers? What could he achieve?
Well, so far, it’s been a roaring success.
This is a player who had been so hampered by injuries, that
Now, he has strung together the best run of appearances of his senior career.

He has appeared in six straight games, helping his adopted side to four wins in that time.
On Saturday, he played the full 90 minutes, in a 3-0 victory over Macclesfield Town.
Does he now have an Ibrox future?
It’s fair to say that by the time he left in January, Rossiter was well down the pecking order.
Steven Gerrard has a raft of midfield players to choose from at the minute. Unfortunately, a lack of match fitness, ensured the 21-year-old was near the bottom of that pile.
Yet, it’s not just minutes that the ex-Liverpool player has been getting under his belt at Bury.
Performance levels have been strong too.
He picked up consecutive Man of the Match awards against Oldham and Portsmouth and his new manager, is impressed with what he’s seen.

Staying fit is clearly the crucial thing here.
Crucially, Rossiter still has time on his side. At just 21 and with another year and a half left on his contract, he could yet be a hit with Rangers.
He’s certainly doing his chances no harm, so far.
