Jordan Rossiter left Rangers temporarily at the end of January, with the blessing of plenty of the club’s fans.
He arrived at Ibrox several seasons back, but has been unable to make his mark at the club.

Persistent, serious injuries have hampered his progress, ensuring he has been unavailable for an incredible number of matches.
Fit again, it was hoped that in joining Bury until the end of the season, he would finally get some minutes under his belt.

Sure, his adopted side are in the English fourth tier. He is still young, though, and the main thing here is that he gets experience of playing regular senior football.

The transfer already looks to be paying off.
Last weekend, he completed 90 minutes in an away win at Morecambe.
On Saturday afternoon, at Exeter, he was once again included from the start.

It was the first time Rossiter had started consecutive league matches, since August 2016.
Back then, he put together four consecutive starts for the Gers against Peterhead, Dundee, Motherwell and Kilmarnock.

In the three years since, he has made just 10 further Rangers appearances.
It shows just how stunted his career has been so far.
Finally, things seem to be heading in the right direction, though.

He lasted 82 minutes as his adopted side picked up another three points on the road.
Promotion is now very much on the cards, as they sit second in the table, just one point behind Lincoln City.
