Graeme Murty’s Rangers Reserves side recorded another win on Monday afternoon.
However, their opponents, Hibernian, didn’t make it easy.
The Edinburgh side came out of the blocks quickly and stunned their hosts by going 2-0 up in ten minutes.
The reaction to the early setback was a testament to a good attitude from the young Gers, though.
They hit back through a brace from the impressive Glenn Middleton, who is challenging for a senior recall.

Therefore, by half-time, the scores were locked at 2-2.
It stayed that way until five minutes from time.
That’s when Scotland U-19 midfielder Stephen Kelly secured all three points.

He sent a perfect free-kick from the left of centre and around 25 yards out, over the wall and into the left side of the goal.
Even more impressive, was that in so doing, he beat the despairing dive of former Liverpool ‘keeper, Adam Bogdan.
The goal meant more than just securing the three points, though.
On the back of that victory, the Gers now know if they win their next three matches, including a potentially decisive Old Firm fixture, they can be crowned SPFL Reserve League champions.
It would be a great end to the season for Murty and his young squad, showing the abundance of talent the club have coming through the ranks.
