Findlay Curtis must also be in the Scotland squad
Findlay Curtis has done extremely well in the past few months out on loan at fellow Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock and should be in the World Cup squad.
BBC shared a graphic on their X account from the game against St Mirren, showcasing just how influential the Scotsman was in that game.
He scored two goals in that game, finding the back of the net with both his shots on target.
The 19-year-old was also influential in making things happen for his teammates as he completed two key passes in the game.
Off the ball too, Curtis worked extremely hard, winning five duels, showing that he can do well in midfield as well as when he’s being played as a winger.
In 12 games for Kilmarnock, he has scored four goals and provided a solitary assist, showing that he should be included in the Scotland squad even if he’s not viewed as a regular starter.
Danny Rohl could leave amid links to RB Salzburg…
Who do you see replacing him?
What does the future hold for Curtis at Rangers?
Curtis signed a new contract at Rangers last year, and the plans appear to be for Rohl to take a look at his development in pre-season and then make a decision.
The German could decide that the time is right to integrate the 19-year-old into his first-team setup and give him regular minutes off the bench.
Alternatively, they could look to loan him out to another Premiership club, although most fans would want him to stay put at Ibrox.
His getting minutes at the World Cup would certainly boost his confidence and would force Rangers’ hand to either give him game time next season or cash in on him, as there are likely to be clubs interested.
