17-year-old Weston signed for Rangers in July after reportedly turning down offers from a number of big English clubs [Scottish Sun]. Now, after months of waiting, he’s finally set for his first competitive outing in Light Blue.
The two summer signings are joined in the XI by former Arsenal youth player Malcolm Ebiowei and longer-serving Academy prospects such as Arron Lyall and Robbie Ure.

It’s been a long time since the youngsters played a competitive match, but McCallum is delighted by the attitude the squad has shown in training.
“Stepping into the first spell of full-time football is different for them and physically it can be quite challenging and mentally quite challenging because of the amount of time they are spending with us,” he said, as quoted by Rangers.co.uk.
“They are just so keen to learn and get better and they are taking opportunities to use not just myself and Cameron, but the sports science team and the analysis team.”
