Rangers have reportedly seen off interest from clubs in England to reach an agreement with Luca Rankin.
The 16-year-old is understood to be one of the top young defenders at Ibrox, and the club have been trying to get him to put pen to paper on a new deal.
With Kyle Glasgow and Ashton Scally signing new Rangers contracts, Rankin is understood to be the next one to commit his future to the club.

Danny Rohl may give Luca Rankin his Rangers debut
According to Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack, Rankin will be given a chance to make an impression on Danny Rohl, who could give him first-team chances.
The teenage defender will pen a three-year deal at the club and hopes to go from strength to strength next season.
Ahead of a Europa League clash against Braga this season, the youngster was spotted in training with the first team.

That was a sign that Rohl had been pleased with what he was doing with the youth sides and plans on integrating him into first-team games in the future.
The German could look at Rankin in pre-season as well and test his mettle against other senior sides in friendlies.
The Light Blues are planning to give more academy players chances in the coming months and have been successful in tying them down to new contracts as well.

The scouting profile on Rankin and why he’s rated so highly
Rankin has shown immense versatility as a youngster, as he is capable of playing as a defender as well as a midfielder.
He has progressed through Rangers’ youth ranks at Auchenhowie and has featured for the Under-17s, Under-19s, and the B team.
The youngster has also featured for Scotland at the youth level, making appearances for the Under-15s and the Under-16s.
His availability and performances in big matches are worth noting, and the reasons why Rohl is such a big fan of the defender.
Rankin is said to be composed in possession and willing to take instructions on board, something that will hold him in good stead in the future.
Rangers view him as a future first-team player, so handing him a new deal was a no-brainer.
