Wolves defender Nasser Djiga has fared well on loan after moving to Rangers in the summer transfer window.
His performances in Scotland have led to the Gers showing interest in bringing him back to Ibrox ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Djiga is on £70k/week wages at Wolves, something which could prove to be a stumbling block for Rangers in the coming weeks.

Wolves decide to keep Nasser Djiga and assess the situation
According to the Express and Star, Rangers are not likely to re-sign Djiga for next season.
Wolves want the Burkina Faso international back at Molineux at the end of the campaign and they will assess what they have to do with him.
Manager Rob Edwards wants to work with him in pre-season and then a decision will be made whether or not he can contribute to the first team.
The Premier League side are expected to play Championship football next season and are demanding £10m for his services.

Why Luke Graham will be a good option for Rangers to replace Djiga
Dundee’s breakout defender Luke Graham has emerged as an ideal replacement for Djiga.
Given the Burkina Faso international’s high wages and demands from Wolves, a permanent Ibrox move is unlikely.
At 6ft 3in, Graham offers the same physical presence as Djiga but brings the added benefit of being left-footed, which provides crucial balance to the Rangers’ backline.
He is a modern, high-output centre-back who is exceptional in the air and has much-needed Scottish Premiership experience.
Graham is also composed with the ball at his feet and will help in the build-up, something that Danny Rohl wants.

Beyond his technical profile, Graham is a cost-effective, homegrown talent who will only get better over the years.
Unlike the loanee Djiga, the 22-year-old represents a long-term investment with high resale potential.
His ability to read the game aligns perfectly with Rohl’s requirements for a defender who can operate in a high line.
By securing the Dundee defender, the Ibrox outfit would replace a temporary, expensive loan with a rising star who possesses the traits needed to anchor their defence for years to come.
