Mikey Moore’s future remains undecided as Rangers wait on Tottenham to sanction his exit in this transfer window.
Rangers remain interested in signing Moore at least on a season-long loan after his exploits in the 2025/26 season campaign.
The English teenager was also named the PFA Young Player of the Year and was among the contenders to win the Light Blues’ Player of the Season award as well.
With Tottenham avoiding relegation, are you now more confident of Mikey Moore returning?
Danny Rohl would love to have him back!
Kenny Miller explains why Rangers are favourites to sign Mikey Moore
Kenny Miller watched a lot of Moore at Ibrox last season and he expects the Gers to be in talks with him over a return.
This comes after it is believed that Roberto De Zerbi will allow the 18-year-old to leave on loan again, as he does not see the winger getting regular game time in North London.
In Miller’s view, returning to Rangers is a no-brainer as he is liked by the fanbase and knows the expectations that come with representing the club.
He expects the Light Blues to be fronting any possible queue to sign him and expects them to be the first-choice destination.
If Lewis Ferguson joins post the World Cup, who should Derek McInnes name the Rangers captain?
This is assuming Nicolas Raskin leaves Rangers…
Miller said: “I would be surprised if Rangers are not already all over Moore if there’s going to be another loan deal for him.
“I would be very surprised if Ibrox wasn’t his destination, given he spoke so fondly about his time there, how much he enjoyed it and how it’s been a really good spell for his development.
“What a place to be an 18-year-old winger, what a place to be plying your trade.
“He’s got a fanbase that absolutely loves him. He’s familiar in the building and, knowing he’s had a really, really good spell, he’ll be aware of what the club expects from him.
“So as I said, I would be surprised if Rangers are not right at the head of that queue to get him back.”

Why a return to Ibrox is the ideal move for Moore
Moore has become far more refined and polished as a player since his move to Ibrox last summer.
He is someone who is a future England international, and if, at 19, he will have two seasons of regular first-team football, he will be well ahead of his peers in terms of overall development.
At Ibrox, he will also get the exposure of playing in Europe, and that will undoubtedly help him mature into a well-rounded player.
Having someone like Derek McInnes to learn from will be extremely beneficial, and there is a good chance that returning is a priority for him, especially given the camaraderie he has built with some of the players.
