West Ham United are leading the hunt for ex-Rangers star and Nottingham Forest centre-back Joe Worrall ahead of the summer transfer window.
That’s according to the Sun on Sunday [13/03/21: print, p60], who claim that relegation candidates Everton are also considering a move for the 25-year-old defender who spent a season on loan at Ibrox in 18/19.

The Sun are claiming that it will take up to £15m for West Ham to prize Joe Worrall away from the City Ground, a sizeable fee that will surprise many Rangers supporters.
Joe Worrall was signed by ex-Gers boss Steven Gerrard in his first season in charge and whilst raw, clearly developed over the course of the campaign and left a better player than he arrived.
His time at the club has been overshadowed by a series of high-profile mistakes and subsequent abuse that Worrall has been outspoken about in the past.
However, it’s clear the defender has grown from his experience in Glasgow and now Joe Worrall is reportedly destined for a move to the Premier league and potentially West Ham.
West Ham eye Joe Worrall as Rangers Euro dream stumbles
The reported West Ham interest in Joe Worrall also comes after the London club stumbled in their apparent Ibrox Europa League dream.
Both manager David Moyes and midfielder Tomas Soucek cited Rangers as the side they hoped to draw in the Last 16 after the Ibrox club had ended Borussia Dortmund’s Euro dream.
“I did (want Rangers) because I was looking forward to the prospect of going to Rangers,” said Moyes [Football.London].
“That would be a real tough game, Rangers did brilliantly well to overcome Dortmund.
“But great credit to them for getting through against Dortmund, I think they are the only team to be knocked out from the teams who qualified from Champions League, so great credit to Rangers for getting through.”

Instead, the Premier League outfit landed a tough tie with Europa League veterans Sevilla who are the record-holding tournament winners (6).
The Spanish outfit also hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium – coincidentally the host stadium for the final – with the return in London next week.
Whilst West Ham have been linked to ex-Rangers star Joe Worrall, the conversation continues to rage about the future of another Ibrox defender.
