Premier League Watford are reportedly running the rule over Ibrox-linked Millwall kid Abdul Abdulmalik not long after they announced the signing of ex-Rangers striker Dapo Mebude.
The Gers were linked to 18-year-old forward Abdulmalik alongside Swansea and Arsenal by the Daily Mail but so far there has been little movement regarding the forward.

The player did spend some time on trial with League One Portsmouth but the Fratton Park club opted not to move for the player.
Portsmouth News made mention of a potential tribunal over a development fee but it is not clear if this was the main reason why Pompey chose not to pounce.
Now, Premier League Watford are reportedly running the rule over the youngster with a view to moving for him after his contract expired with the Lions.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who once again mentioned Rangers as one of the parties potentially interested in the youngster.
That report also claims that Millwall have rejected a number of approaches for Abdulmalik from Swansea, with the highest being a £200k structured deal with future add-ons.
The Watford links come after the Vicarage Road club announced the signing of Dapo Mebude following his release from Rangers in the summer.
Mebude, 19 was one of 10 names who left the Ibrox club ahead of this season and released an emotional farewell as part of the goodbye.
A leading journalist has also been explaining why another top Gers talent left the club despite signing on improved terms just a few months earlier.
