Rangers are keen on keeping Tottenham-owned Mikey Moore at Ibrox for another season, given his performances this term.

Spurs loaned out the young English attacker to ensure he gets regular minutes and develops into a first-team player.

That is exactly what has happened with Moore emerging as one of the key players for the Ibrox outfit.

Andy Scoulding was at Ibrox last week amid Mikey Moore interest

According to Rangers Review, Tottenham’s Head of Loans & Pathways Andy Scoulding was at Ibrox last weekend.

Scoulding is a former Rangers employee, serving as the Head of Scouting for five years between 2017 and 2022 before moving to North London.

Having him back at the club would not hurt their chances of signing Moore again, given the fact that he has a good relationship with the staff behind the scenes.

The Light Blues have made it clear that they want to re-sign the 18-year-old, and work is underway to make that happen.

Moore himself confirmed that there are conversations being held by people close to him and that he would be open to returning.

However, he stated that he was unaware if the two clubs had opened a dialogue towards making that happen.

How Danny Rohl can help Moore return to Rangers

Danny Rohl has managed to get the best out of Moore and the Englishman has emerged as a key player under him.

The German could speak to Spurs about the progress the youngster has shown under his stewardship and how another year at Ibrox would make him even better.

If Tottenham avoid relegation, they would retain more players than if they were to get relegated.

This would see Moore’s minutes restricted, something that would not happen if he were allowed to return to Rangers.

Rohl would not need to convince the 18-year-old to return as he already appears to be keen on another year in the Scottish Premiership.

Hopefully, Scoulding’s visit to Ibrox can help smooth things out, and there could be some progress regarding another loan deal in the coming weeks.

This is surely something that Gers fans would also be open to.
