With Hearts having booted out a £200,000 bid from the Ibrox club for their star-striker, it appears Rangers fans aren’t sure about Kyle Lafferty.
According to the Daily Record, a second bid is being prepped by Rangers for the Northern Irish international, who scored 12 league goals for the Jambos in his maiden season in Gorgie last term.
Lafferty infamously left the club after they went into liquidation in 2012, signing for Sion in Switzerland before having spells at Palermo, Norwich City, Caykur Rizespor, and Birmingham City.

The 30-year-old never really won over the Rangers supporters during his first spell at the club, with inconsistent performances frustrating a fan-base who felt the striker could offer so much more on his day.
And those mixed emotions about Lafferty seem to have transferred over to his potential signing, with supporters split about the acquisition of their former man on Twitter:

Gerrard remains in the market for a third striker, and ideally wouldn’t want to make a saga of the Lafferty deal.
Should he sign the Northern Irishman though, it’s clear he still has some strong supporters to oppose the doubters at Ibrox.
