Rangers could now see Aris winger Luis Palma move to Stoke City with the English Championship club targeting a deal.
Palma has been one of the top rumours throughout the summer for Rangers fans.
Rangers were first linked to Palma back in April as Greek newspaper Sportime claimed that the Gers were scouting him against Olympiacos.
That was rejected by Aris and links to Palma have ultimately gone quiet in recent weeks.
Rangers don’t seem all that fussed about natural wingers right now with Scott Wright and Fashion Sakala seemingly available.
Abdallah Sima and Sam Lammers can play there if needed but we’re more likely to see Rangers play a diamond in midfield and scrap wingers.
That means a deal for Palma to arrive at Rangers seems very unlikely now – but he could end up in England.

Stoke City move in for Luis Palma
The Daily Mail now report that English Championship side Stoke City are ‘ready to open talks’ over a deal for Palma.
It’s stated that Palma is valued at around £3.5million and could join the Potters after interest from Rangers.
Stoke have already added two wingers this summer with Andre Vidigal and Chiquinho but could go for another in Palma.
The Honduran international bagged 13 goals and eight assists last season, playing a starring role for Aris.
That put Palma and the Rangers radar but Michael Beale now looks unlikely to sign the 23-year-old.
Instead, Palma could end up playing under a Scottish manager in Alex Neil, with Rangers surely keeping tabs on his progress in England.
