Rangers Managing Director, Stewart Robertson, has discussed the club’s summer transfer plans, in an interview with RangersTV.
The Gers have already conducted some business ahead of next season. Steven Davis has signed a one-year contract, while Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie have signed pre-contract agreements ahead of moves.

Yet, if Bears were expecting plenty more arrivals, they will end up disappointed.
“Recruitment is so important in any football club and it’s the nature of the beast that there has to be some turnover in the summer,” said Robertson, during an interview with RangersTV.
“We don’t want to see anything like the turnover we had last year, we need to minimise that. So, I think there will be fewer players coming and going this season and that should be the case going forward, as well.”
“We’ve now got foundations in place which allow us to tick over, rather than wholesale changes.”

Verdict
One thing Steven Gerrard has consistently referred to is a need for support from the board [Evening Times].
Yet, with several deals already done, Robertson’s comments suggest that there won’t be too many other new faces through the doors this summer.
At the same time, an exodus doesn’t appear to be on the cards, either. We previously identified up to 15 players who could realistically leave the club, but it sounds as though any departures will be on a much smaller scale than that.
