Steven Gerrard has provided another exciting Rangers transfer update, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The Gers boss has been extremely busy over the summer months.

So far, he’s strengthened his side in the wide channels, central midfield and at the heart of defence. His most recent signing was the high profile capture of Sweden international Filip Helander.
However, excitingly for Rangers fans, he’s not done just yet. He still has his eye on bringing another body in.

“We’re nearly complete in terms of the squad we are trying to build,” said Gerrard, as quoted by the Daily Record. “There will not be much more activity there – maybe one.”

Verdict

With a month and a half left of the transfer window, there’s clearly ample time to get another deal over the line.
It’s unclear as yet what area he wants to strengthen in, though. Perhaps the most likely is up front. After all, Kyle Lafferty has been told he has no future at Ibrox [Scotsman], while Ryan Hardie has just signed for Blackpool.
While youngsters Josh McPake and Zak Rudden are options if either Jermain Defoe or Alfredo Morelos get injured, they are young and inexperienced.
The fact that Gerrard has the majority of his business already done, is commendable. There’s been significant squad upheaval, but with most of the new arrivals getting a full pre-season, there’s ample time for the new group to gel before the SPL campaign kicks off next month.
