Tony Fitzpatrick has claimed Rangers and Celtic must be interested in one of his players, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
The St Mirren Chief Executive is referring to Vaclav Hladky. The 28-year-old Buddies keeper was the hero of their recent playoff victory over Dundee United.

The Czech saved three spot-kicks and in so doing, ultimately preserved his team’s SPL status.
“There are teams from Russia and other countries already interested in signing Vaclav and I’m not surprised because he’s top quality,” claimed Fitzpatrick, as quoted by the Scottish Sun. “He’s capable of playing at a level much higher than the Premiership.”
“I would think Celtic and Rangers must be looking at him and thinking he could do a job for them. He’s a big-game player and such a find for us. He’s been tremendous ever since he came in.
“We’d rather keep him for a year than give him away this summer for a small fee. You would be looking for at least six figures. Definitely. Goalkeepers are specialist players now, like strikers. The good ones are worth their weight in gold and Vaclav is up there with the best.”

St Mirren’s CEO has clearly been impressed by Hladky since he joined the club in January.
It’s a little strange to start fabricating interest from the Old Firm, though.
The Scottish Sun reported earlier this week that Qarabag in Azerbaijan, are keen on him. Therefore, perhaps this is a ploy from Fitzpatrick to drive the price up.
Allan McGregor looks set to remain as no.1 at Ibrox next season. However, with the future of several other keepers uncertain, there could be a promotion on the cards for a promising homegrown talent.
