Sheffield United fans have reacted after their club signed former Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
The 29-year-old was available on a free having been released by the Gers earlier in the summer and the Blades announced his arrival on a three-year deal via Twitter on Friday evening.
✍️ Chris Wilder has moved quickly to bolster United’s goalkeeping ranks for next season with the addition of Wes Foderingham on a three-year contract.

“I’m delighted to join Sheffield United,” Foderingham told sufc.co.uk.
“It is an exciting time for the club after an incredible first season back in the Premier League. I’m looking forward to meeting the team and can’t wait to get started.”
Foderingham was brought to Ibrox by Mark Warburton in 2015 and went on to make 143 appearances for the club.
He served as no.1 until the beginning of the 2018/19 season when the return of Allan McGregor saw him demoted to back-up.

Despite playing a bit part role over the past two seasons he remained popular with the Ibrox faithful as a reliable shot-stopper with good distribution.
It was always likely that he would return to England after his lengthy stint in Glasgow, but few expected him to go straight to the Premier League.
The move has caught some Sheffield United fans by surprise given that the club already has multiple goalkeepers on their books and are said to be trying to re-sign current no.1 Dean Henderson on loan from Manchester United ahead of next season [BBC Sport].
