If Michael Beale is looking for a Ryan Kent like replacement for Rangers, he could do a lot worse than entertain a bid for Ola Solbakken who has been given permission to leave Roma.
The Norway international has been tipped to be an ideal fit in the past when he was a free agent but now, news of a bid should alert the Light Blues.
According to Greek outlet Sport24, Olympiacos are considering a loan bid with a £4m option to buy clause inserted into the deal, the sort of transfer that Rangers should be considering for Ola Solbakken too.

TIme is right for Ola Solbakken Rangers move
The 24-year old has struggled since moving to Serie A after an impressive spell at Bodo/Glimt saw him rise to prominence.
A one-man demolition of Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the Europa Conference League saw the legendary gaffer so impressed that he had to see for himself what the winger was capable of.

Ola Solbakken is different to what Rangers currently have, as a natural lefty and over 6ft tall, he is a cross between Sam Lammers and Abdallah Sima.
He is a high-quality dribbler with pace and an end product.

In terms of minutes (just 900 over the season) Solbakken produced a goal contribution every two games for Roma but he just hasn’t settled and a permanent move is preferred by the Serie A giants.
It was his 11 goals and nine assists for Bodo/Glimt in 2021/22 that saw bigger clubs chase his signature.
Ola Solbakken has the ability to play either behind a central striker in a narrower two or three and play on either wing, he is exactly the type of player that Rangers should be looking for if a last minute deal is available.
The price is one that makes sense and Michael Beale should be doing everything he can to hijack Solbakken’s potential move to Greece.
