Sam Lammers has impressed so far in his short period as a Rangers player.
A goal on his first appearance at Ibrox showed that he is willing to do the graft out of possession and has the composure to match.
It is this end product that Sam Lammers will be wanting to take into the season as Rangers new look attack takes shape, with the big Dutchman appreciating the fight he is on his hands, as reported by The Glasgow Times.

The 26-year old has been seen in a few different positions as Michael Beale looks for rotation and flexibility in his attack.
Sam Lammers willing to graft for Rangers place amid hot competition
With the news that Danilo could soon be joining too, competition is going to be fierce, something Lammers knows only too well:
“At a club like Rangers, there are good players, this is normal. And you can see this season that there are a lot of new arrivals and a lot of players that were here already, so I think in every team you have to work for your place.
“This is normal, this is football, so if you are not ready for that then you are not ready to play for a team like Rangers.
“I want to be important for the team. I want to get the club or the team to a higher level, so this is my goal.”

What Sam Lammers has in his favour is his ability to play on the wing and be a creator for Rangers, as shown against Hamburg.
He can also link play centrally, being an effective target to hold the ball up and bring others around him into play.
Sam Lammers might not have set Serie A on fire, but if he had, he wouldn’t be at Rangers.
His job will be to play a role in creating the chances for Danilo and Cyriel Dessers in what is an exciting looking front three.
For the first time in years, the Gers gaffer can also turn to his squad of those that are considered first choice picks aren’t producing the goods.
Lammers, so far, doesn’t look like he’ll have anything to worry about.
